What Happened to Watermans Warehouse?
After nearly four years and hundreds of swim students receiving financial aid, Watermans Warehouse changes direction.

After nearly four years and hundreds of swim students receiving financial aid, Watermans Warehouse changes direction.
Our two sons had the desire to start a business and wanted our help. We agreed to help and teach them under one condition; all profits go to charity. Once competent they could spin off into their own entrepreneurial endeavors.
Nearly 80% of low income families have no swimming skills and there are no public pools within 30 miles of Topsail Island. We took donations and profits from the Watermans Warehouse apparel line and repurposed them into swim lessons for the less fortunate.
The boys are now both full time college students so we decided to pivot. We sold out of all merchandise and will be gifting all remaining profits to the YMCA where the money will be used for similar purposes locally.
We know the need is great in our community and have provided helpful links below.
For families seeking financial assistance for swim lessons we highly recommend the YMCA
For private pools looking to receive funding similar to what Watermans Warehouse provided, please contact Hope Floats Foundation
For donors looking to continue their gifts, please donate to the YMCA of Southeastern NC
